Any person who shall engage in or carry on the business, trade, profession or calling of a soothsayer, astrologer, palmist, seer, mind reader, fortuneteller, phrenologist, clairvoyant or any other trade or profession pertaining to the telling of fortunes, for compensation or hire, or otherwise, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
