In the interpretation of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(a) “Department” shall mean the Public Works Department of the City.
(b) “Superintendent” shall mean the Superintendent of the Department.
(c) “Water connection” shall mean that part of the water distribution system connecting the water main with the premises served.
(d) “Water main” shall mean that part of the water distribution system located within easement lines or streets designed to supply more than one water connection.
