§ 2.97-1 APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL.
   (A)   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the City Manager.
   (B)   The Chief of Police shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager and may be removed by the City Manager in the same manner as other officers and employees of the city, pursuant to § 2.17 of this code.
