§ 25.225 CHANGE OF USE WITH HIGHER PARKING REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   For the reoccupation of an existing building, where an existing commercial or industrial use is changed to another permitted commercial or industrial use with higher parking requirements, the change of use shall not be denied solely on the grounds of insufficient off-street parking spaces to comply with this article. The existing parking area shall be fully utilized on a change of use and any unimproved lot area available for off-street parking shall be so improved and used, but in no event shall more parking area be required than is set forth in this article.
   (B)   When, as a result of the change of use, any structures, buildings or parts thereof are removed from the lot or lots upon which the principal structure is located, the additional area thus realized shall be improved and used for parking.
