(A) All houses, buildings, lots and property in the city shall be numbered in accordance with the house numbers and system of numbering shown upon a certain map of the city filed in the Office of the Clerk of the city as the official map and system for the numbering of houses, buildings, lots and property. Each ten feet of frontage of lots as shown on the map shall have a separate number and no property shall be numbered otherwise than as shown on the map.
(B) The map shall be framed and kept in the Office of the City Clerk, where the same may be inspected at all times.
