§ 19.11-1 PLACEMENT OF MAILBOXES.
   (A)   No box for the delivery of mail shall be placed so as to obstruct the area between the curb face of any public street and the back of any concrete or hard surfaced sidewalk.
   (B)   No box for the collection or delivery of mail shall be placed within the street right-of-way so as to endanger the life or safety of the traveling public.
   (C)   Boxes for the collection of mail may be permitted within the sidewalk right-of-way.
   (D)   No permit shall be issued for placing individual boxes for the delivery of mail.
   (E)   Excepting as herein otherwise provided, all mailboxes shall be placed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Post Office Department.
   (F)   Existing uses may be continued.
