§ 13.43 EXEMPTION OF JURORS AND WITNESSES FROM CERTAIN PROVISIONS.
   (A)   Persons who are called as and serve in the capacity of jurors, either in the justice court of the city judicial district or the superior court of the state in and for the county, and, while in the performance of their duty as jurors, receive a notice of over-parking, shall be relieved of the penalties provided for in the section upon certification to the Chief of Police of the city by the judge of the superior court or the judge of the justice court that the person was, at the time of the offense, engaged in the performance of his or her duty as a juror.
   (B)   Upon receiving the certification, the Chief of Police shall terminate all proceedings relative to the enforcement of the penalties prescribed.
   (C)   Over-parking notices received by witnesses in attendance at trials shall be processed in like manner.
