From time to time, the City Council may require public officials of the city other than those provided for in § 2.2, to supply bonds to the city and shall, by resolution, designate the officials and fix the penal sum of the officers’ bonds and the bonds shall, except as otherwise provided, conform to the provisions of the state government code relating to bonds of public office.
