§ 21.63 EFFECTIVE DATE AND SUBMISSION TO VOTERS.
   This chapter relates to the levying and collecting of a city transactions and use tax and shall take effect immediately. However, no tax imposed by this chapter shall be effective unless it has been approved by the voters of the city as required by § 2(b) of Article XIII C of the California Constitution and applicable law. The transactions and use tax extension was approved by the voters on November 6, 2018.
