(A) The 2022 Edition of the California Electrical Code, known as the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 3, incorporating the National Electrical Code, 2022 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, and the non-building Uniform Administrative Code Provisions for the National Electric Code are adopted by reference as the Electrical Code of the city, except as amended with findings in Articles V
and VI
of this chapter. A copy of the code is maintained in the Office of the Community Development Director or designee (Community Development Official (Building Official)) for examination and use by the public.
(B) The following appendices are adopted:
(1) Appendix A (Product Safety Standards);
(2) Appendix B (Application Information for Ampacity Calculation)”
(3) Appendix C (Conduit and Tubing Fill Tables for Conductors and Fixture Wires of the Same Size);
(4) Appendix E (Type of Construction); and
(5) Appendix H (Administrative and Enforcement).
