(A) If a building, mechanical, electrical or plumbing permit is required for work in a new, added, remodeled or converted areas that area shall not be occupied or used prior to obtaining written approval from the Community Development Director or designee (authorized officer, agent and/or official). No mobile home or manufactured home requiring an installation permit from the city shall be occupied without written approval from the Building Department.
(B) Previously occupied buildings, except dwelling units, shall not be occupied without written occupancy approval from the Community Development Department.
