§ 5.27 CALIFORNIA GREEN BUILDING CODE.
   The 2022 California Green Building Code Standards, Title 24, Part 11, also known as the CALGreen Code and the California Green Building Standards Code (CGBSC), is California’s first mandatory green building code. It contains regulations for energy efficiency, water efficiency and conservation, material conservation and resource efficiency, environmental quality, and more. It contains mandatory provisions for the following types of new buildings: commercial, low-rise residential, public schools. Appendices, which are not being adopted, include voluntary provisions for all of these occupancies plus hospitals. Tier 1 and 2 and non-mandatory code sections shall not be adopted for the purposes of this section of the Code for the City of Red Bluff.
