§ 24.8 UNLAWFUL ACTS GENERALLY.
   It shall be unlawful:
   (A)   For any person to tamper with, interfere with or damage any meter, curb stop, or meter box, any pipe line and appurtenances, hydrant, faucet or other property of the Water Department;
   (B)   For any person to pile trash, leaves, rubbish, lumber or any other material on top of any of the property of the Water Department;
   (C)   For any person to make any bypass between the meter and the main line or between the curb stop and the main line;
   (D)   For any person other than authorized personnel of the Water Department to operate any curb stop or make any connection with the main;
   (E)   For any person supplied with water to furnish water to any adjacent property or to any house trailer without first obtaining written permission from the Director of Public Works;
   (F)   For any person to take water from the Water Department system save as provided in this chapter; and
   (G)   For any person to use a fire hydrant for any purpose without first obtaining written permission from the Director of Public Works.
