§ 53.01  CITY SEWER SERVICE.
   (A)   Purpose and policy.  The purpose of this chapter is to regulate sewers and discharge of waste into the city publicly operated sanitary sewage system.
   (B)   Definitions.  For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      CITY.  Whenever used in this chapter, means the City of Reading, Michigan.
      REVENUES and NET REVENUES. Whenever used in this chapter, they shall be understood to have the meanings as defined in § 3 of Public Act 94 of 1933 as amended, being M.C.L.A. §§ 141.101 through 141.138.
      THE SYSTEM.  Whenever referred to in this chapter, means the complete city sanitary sewer system, including all sewers, pumps, lift stations, treatment facilities, and all other facilities used or useful in the collection, treatment, and disposal of domestic, commercial, or industrial waste, including all appurtenances thereto and including all extensions and improvements thereto which may hereafter be acquired.
