This chapter is enacted under the authority of and in accordance with the provisions of the Land Division Act, being Public Act 591 of 1996, as amended, governing the incorporated portions of the city, intended to regulate the division of land other than in a subdivision to be platted in accordance with the Subdivision Control Act, being Public Act 288 of 1967 (being M.C.L.A. §§ 560.101 through 560.293) and city ordinance, or a site condominium proposed under the terms of the Condominium Act, being Public Act 59 of 1978 (being M.C.L.A. §§ 559.101 through 559.272) and city ordinance. Henceforth, all divisions of land shall comply with the terms and requirements of this chapter and other ordinances of the city.
