The City Attorney and City Assessor shall be appointed officers of the city. If such officers are members of a private corporation or firm with whom the City contracts for such services, the contracts shall designate individuals to serve in the capacity of Officer on behalf of the City. In the event such person shall leave the employment of the contracting corporation or firm, the corporation or firm may designate another person to serve in that capacity with the consent of Council.
