PREAMBLE

We the people of the City of Reading, Hillsdale County, Michigan, by authority of the Constitution of Michigan and Act 279 of 1909 [M.C.L. 117.1 et seq., MSA 5.2071 et seq.] hereby ordain and establish this home rule charter for the City of Reading.
