Any person, firm or corporation who fails to register when notified shall be charged an additional administrative fee as specified in Section 1424.04 of the Codified Ordinances. A written request can be made to the Chief Building Official stating the reasons the registration will not or could not be submitted within that time period. If the Chief Building Official rules that the reasons are justified he may waive the additional fee. Until registered, no contractor or subcontractor required to be registered may undertake any regulated work or improvement.
