1416.02 LICENSE APPLICATION; FEE; CONTENTS; TRANSFERABILITY.
   In order to obtain an electrician's license, written application therefor, accompanied by a fee of ten dollars ($10.00), shall be made to the City of Ravenna. If the application is approved and in accordance with the National Electrical Code and a license is issued, the ten dollar ($10.00) fee shall apply upon the fee prescribed in Section 1416.05. No person's application shall be approved unless he or she has had at least four years of continuous experience making interior or exterior electrical installations of wiring for lighting and energy under the direction and instruction of a person holding such a license issued by a proper governmental authority. Such application shall contain the name, address, age and vocational experience of the applicant, with the name and address of his or her instructor and the source of the license issued to his or her instructor. The application shall show whether or not the applicant has had four years of experience in the trade as above specified and shall state that if the license is issued, the holder will perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code, the Ohio Basic Building Code and the ordinances of the City. The application shall be signed by the applicant and sworn to before a notary public or some other person legally authorized to take sworn acknowledgements. No license shall be transferable to another person.
