A violation by a collector of any of the provisions of this chapter may constitute grounds for the revocation by the Health Commissioner of such collector's license. Such a revocation may be for either a specific or an indefinite length of time and may be imposed regardless of whether or not the licensee involved has been convicted in a judicial proceeding of a violation of this chapter. Notice of such revocation shall be sent by the Health Commissioner to the collector at the address provided in the collector's application for licensing.
