1040.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of Section 1040.03 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
   (b)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of Section 1040.04 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
   (c)   Whoever violates any provision of Section 1040.05 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
   In addition, any person guilty of any of the offenses listed in Section 1040.05 or a violation of any other Water Department regulation shall, for a first offense, be prohibited from obtaining a water tapper's license for a period of at least two years. Any person found guilty of a second or subsequent violation of Section 1040.05 or any other Water Department regulation shall thereafter be forever barred from obtaining a water tapper's license.
