(a) No person shall conduct a garage sale in the City without first obtaining a permit therefor from the office of the Director of Public Service.
(b) The application for the permit required by subsection (a) hereof must include the name of the person holding the sale and his or her address and telephone number, the time and date of the sale and the type of sale. Such application shall be filed not later than forty-eight hours before the sale commences.

(c) The fee for the permit required by subsection (a) hereof shall be five dollars ($5.00).

(d) Neighborhoods may apply for a combined or community garage/yard sale upon the completion of the application per section (b). The fee for the permit required for this activity is twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per event.
