680.02 REMOVAL OR DESTRUCTION OF COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL REQUIRED UPON NOTICE.
   (a)   The owner, occupant or person having the charge or management of any lot or parcel of land situated within the corporate limits, whether it is improved or unimproved, vacant or occupied, within ten days of written notice to do so served upon him or her by the Fire Chief, shall remove from such lot or destroy any dead tree, dry grass, brush, lumber, vegetation, wood products of any kind or any other accumulation of combustible materials found or located upon such lot.

   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
