642.13 TEASING AND STRIKING DOGS USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   (a)   No person shall maliciously, willfully or intentionally do any of the following to dogs used by the Police Department for the enforcement of the laws of the City: taunt, torment, tease, beat or strike any dog used by the Police Department, in the performance of the functions or duties of the Department or any member thereof.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
