The members of the Commission annually shall elect a Chairperson to serve for one year, who may be removed by a majority vote of the Commission at its discretion. Any member may be removed at any time by City Council for cause or for neglect of duty after due hearing. The Chairperson and members of the Commission shall serve without pay, but reasonable travel and other expenses shall be paid on vouchers approved by the Mayor and the Finance Director. The Commission may establish such rules as it finds necessary or advisable. Any action to be taken by the Commission shall require the concurrence of a simple majority of the members of the Commission.
