238.03 SETTLEMENT OF SMALL CLAIMS.

The Director of Public Safety and the Director of Public Service, with the advice and consent of the Law Director, are hereby authorized to settle, on behalf of the City, any claim for damages against the City for which a legal liability of the City exists and where the complete settlement amounts to not more than one thousand dollars ($2,000.00).
