The elective and appointive executive officials of the City may be requested to attend regular and special meeting of Council, to answer such oral questions as relate to the affairs of the City and to receive written requests for information, investigation or enforcement action as may be directed to them by any member of Council. If written requests are submitted, the official shall make a report in writing to the requesting Council member at or before the next regular meeting, if possible; if not, oral interim reports shall be made monthly until the matter is completed or closed.
