Special meetings of Council may be called by a vote of Council taken at any regular or special meeting. Special meetings may also be called by the Clerk of Council upon written request of the Mayor or President of Council or any three (3) members of Council.
Any such vote or request for the calling of a special meeting shall state the time and subject or subjects to be considered at the meeting and no other subject shall be considered. A twenty- four (24) hour notice of such meetings shall be given to each member of Council, the President of Council and the Mayor. A twenty-four (24) hour notice shall also be given to the public by posting the same in City Hall and by other means as may be determined by Council using contemporary forms of information sharing.
