Each full-time employee of the City of Ravenna, covered by this chapter, disabled to the extent that they cannot perform their regular duties from injury received while in the course of his or her employment or official duty, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, shall receive for a period of up to ninety calendar days from the beginning of such disability an amount of compensation (injury leave) which shall be equivalent to their full salary. The receipt of any concurrent payment of wage relief paid to employees while on injury leave, such as temporary total disability, is addressed in the City's Injury Leave Policy.
