§ 111.01 UNINVITED ENTERING OF PRIVATE RESIDENCES PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Generally. The practice of going in and upon private residences in the city by solicitors, peddlers, hawkers, itinerant merchants, and transient vendors of merchandise, not having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant of the private residence, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares, and merchandise or for the purpose of disposing of or peddling or hawking the same, is hereby prohibited, declared to be nuisance, and punishable as a violation of this section.

   (B)   Enforcement. The Chief of Police and all police officers of the city are hereby required and directed to suppress and abate any nuisance described in division (A) above.
