§ 96.03 HEIGHT LIMITS.
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no structure or tree shall be erected, altered, allowed to grow, or maintained in any airport approach zone, airport turning zone, or airport transition zone to a height in excess of the height limit established for the zone.
   (B)   For purposes of this regulation, the following height limits are hereby established for each of the zones in question.
      (1)   Approach zones. Beginning at a point at the end of each runway and extending 2 miles, maximum height restrictions shall be at a 40 feet to 1 foot slope; beginning at end of runway and extending 6,000 feet to a maximum height of 150 feet and extending the remainder of the 2 miles restricted area at the aforestated 150 feet maximum height.
      (2)   Airport transition zones. Beginning at a point at the site of each runway and extending 1,050 feet at 7 feet to 1 foot slope to a maximum height of 150 feet.
      (3)   Airport turning zone. The maximum height restriction shall be 150 feet.
