§ 93.017 SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS.
   (A)   Cement or vitrified brick required; generally. All sidewalks constructed within the city shall be constructed either of cement or vitrified brick and shall be constructed under the supervision, instructions, and specifications furnished by the City Engineer. No cement shall be used except the best imported portland cement or the best American portland known to be approved for the work.

   (B)   Choice of sidewalk material for each side of residential block by majority of property owners thereon. In the residential areas of the city, a majority of the property owners on any 1 side of the block may choose whether they desire the sidewalk constructed of cement or vitrified brick.
