§ 52.26 SCHEDULE NUMBER S-1; SECURITY LIGHT.
   (A)   Availability. Security lights are available to all (except as noted) residential, commercial and industrial customers served by the Raton Public Service Company for outside lighting purposes at the voltage and phase of the company’s distribution system. This schedule is not subject to resale, break-down, or stand-by service. A 1-time installation charge of $85 is required for security lights installed on existing poles with power available within 150 feet. A 1-time installation charge of $265 is required for the installation of a pole and a security light with power available within 150 feet. An extra $190 will be charged for each additional pole necessary if power is not available within 150 feet.
   (B)   Monthly rate.
      (1)   Rate Number 1 (available for existing R.P.S. customers only); individual owns fixture and R.P.S. furnishes power. Owner furnishes cost of parts and servicing: $ 5.14 per month plus energy cost adjustment plus taxes (gross) and $ 4.63 per month plus energy cost adjustment plus taxes (net).
      (2)   Rate Number 2; R.P.S. owns fixture and power is furnished by customer. R.P.S. furnishes parts and service: $ 7.12 per month plus taxes (gross) and $ 6.41 per month plus taxes (net).
      (3)   Rate Number 3 (available for existing R.P.S. customers only); R.P.S. owns fixture and pole, power is furnished by customer. R.P.S. furnishes parts and service: $ 8.19 per month plus taxes (gross) and $ 7.37 per month plus taxes (net).
      (4)   Rate Number 4; RPS owns fixture, furnishes power, maintains and services fixture. Rate: $ 10.67 per month plus energy cost adjustment plus taxes (gross) and $ 9.60 per month plus energy cost adjustment plus taxes (net).
      (5)   As used in this subchapter GROSS refers to the amount of the customer’s bill if the prompt payment discount is not allowed and NET refers to the amount of the customer’s bill if the prompt payment discount is allowed, as hereinafter provided.
   (C)   Energy cost adjustment clause.
      (1)   This (net) adjustment, which shall be computed by the following formula and rounded to the nearest $0.0001, will then be multiplied by the individual kWh usage for each customer:
            Energy Cost Adjustment ($/kWh) = (F+P)/S
      (2)   Where:
         (a)   F = Dollar cost of fuel burned during the most recent month to supply electric energy to customers;
         (b)   P = Dollar cost of purchased power during the most recent month to supply electric energy to customers;
         (c)   S = Total kWh sales to billable customers for the monthly billing cycle.
      (3)   The General Manager or his or her designee may adjust the energy cost adjustment for any month to account for any under- or over-collections of energy related charges.
   (D)   Tax adjustment. Billings under this schedule may be increased by an amount equal to the sum of the taxes payable under the Gross Receipts and Compensating Tax Act and of all other taxes, fees, or charges payable by the utility and levied or assessed any federal, state, county or city authority or their agencies on the public utility service rendered, or on the right or privilege of rendering the service, or on any object or event incidental to the rendition of the service.
   (E)   Prompt payment discount. A discount of 10% will be allowed on all bills if paid on or before the tenth of the month and up to the opening office hours on the eleventh of the month succeeding the month in which the bills were incurred, providing the customer has no unpaid balance on previous bills, except as follows :
      (1)   If payment is mailed and postmarked prior to midnight of the tenth day of each month, the discount will be allowed.
      (2)   Whenever the tenth day of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday, the discount will be allowed on the next following regular work day, and up to the opening office hours the following day.
