9-1-9: BUILDING PERMITS:
   A.   Permit Required: No person shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, improve or convert any building or structure used for human habitation, including a garage attached thereto, or any building used for commercial or industrial purposes or any public building which is within the City without first obtaining a separate building permit from the building official for each building or structure involved.
   B.   Application For Permit: To obtain a building permit, the applicant shall first file an application therefor, in writing, on a form furnished by the building official for that purpose. Each such application shall:
      1.   Identify and describe the work to be covered by the permit for which application is made.
      2.   Describe the land on which the proposed work is to be done by legal description.
      3.   State the valuation of the proposed work.
      4.   Be signed by the applicant or applicant's authorized agent.
      5.   Give such other information as reasonably may be required by the building official or City Council. (Ord. 425, 1-14-2003)
