A. Owner To Bear Expense: All main extensions and service lines required to provide service to a new property owner shall be constructed solely at owner's expense in conformance with conditions established by the city. All requests for new service which require the construction of a main extension shall be presented to the city council for approval, at which time all terms and conditions shall be determined.
B. Acceptance By City: After the construction of the extension and its acceptance by the city, the water line shall become the property of the city who shall then be responsible for the future operation and maintenance of the water line and associated appurtenances up to and including the water meter and meter box.
