7-1-2: REQUIREMENTS OF COMPLIANCE:
   A.   Compliance Required: Any person who engages in any Municipal construction project or works on any Municipal utility including sewer, water, street or sidewalk within the Municipal limits of the City shall comply with all Federal, State and Municipal ordinances, regulations or codes including, but not limited to, the Uniform Building Code.
   B.   Noncompliance: Any noncompliance identified by the City Engineer and Public Works Director shall be grounds for withholding a certificate of occupancy for such effective project.
   C.   Certificate Of Occupancy; Minimum Bond: Any person may obtain a certificate of occupancy prior to completion of the effective project upon the posting of a performance bond in an amount determined by the City Engineer and Public Works Director to equal the anticipated cost to assure compliance with any identified deficiency. In no event shall such performance bond be less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).
   D.   Deficiency; Forfeiture Of Bond: In the event such performance bond is posted with the City as contemplated herein, the effected person shall have thirty (30) days to correct any identified deficiency. If such deficiency is not corrected within thirty (30) days from the date of any deficiency notice issued herewith, such bond shall be forfeited to the City to cover the cost of remediation of such deficiency and inspection fees.
