A. All significant industrial users shall promptly notify the POTW in advance of a change in the average monthly volume greater than twenty percent (20%) or a significant change in the character of pollutants in their discharge, including significant manufacturing process changes, pretreatment modifications, and the listed or characteristic hazardous wastes for which the industrial user has submitted initial notification under 40 CFR 403.12(p).
B. Any industrial user operating under a wastewater discharge permit incorporating equivalent mass or concentration limits shall notify the City within two (2) business days after the industrial user has a reasonable basis to know that the production level will significantly change within the next calendar month. Any industrial user not providing a notice of such anticipated change will be required to comply with the existing limits contained in its wastewater discharge permit. (Ord. 582, 10-9-2019)
