Any user shall notify the POTW immediately of all discharges that could cause problems to the POTW, including any slug loads, as defined in Section 8-4-1-3. The notification shall include the concentration and volume, and the corrective actions and steps being taken by the industrial user to reduce any adverse impact to the POTW. Any industrial user who discharges a slug load of pollutants shall be liable for any expense, loss, or damage to the POTW, in addition to the amount of any fines imposed on the City under state or federal law.
