The specific objectives of this cross connection control article for the Town of Ranlo Water are as follows:
(A) To protect the public potable water supply of the county against actual or potential contamination by isolating within the consumer's water system contaminants or pollutants which could, under adverse conditions, backflow through uncontrolled cross connections into the public water system;
(B) To eliminate or control existing cross connections, actual or potential, between the consumer's potable water system and nonpotable or industrial piping system; and
(C) To provide a continuing inspection program of cross connection control which will systematically and effectively control all actual or potential cross connections which may be installed in the future.
