§ 33.032 DUTIES OF THE SERGEANT.
   (A)   The Sergeant of Police shall have charge of the patrol officers assigned to duty under him or her and shall instruct and assist them in their duties, and shall be responsible for their general appearance, good order, and discipline.
   (B)   In particular, it is the duty of the Sergeant of Police to inspect and see that each patrol officer is properly uniformed and equipped for duty, and that his or her uniform is clean and neat in appearance.
