§ 33.030 CAPTAIN TO ASSIST CHIEF OF POLICE.
   It shall be the duty of the Captain of Police to assist the Chief of Police in the discharge of his or her duties. He or she shall supervise the patrol officers as the Chief shall from time to time direct, and shall make necessary reports to the Chief in regard to the matter placed under his or her charge.
