§ 33.027 DUTIES OF THE CHIEF.
   The Chief of the town, subject to the Police Commissioner, commands the force under his or her order and is responsible for its discipline and efficiency. Further, he or she shall recommend to the Board of Commissioners the reforms and changes in the Police Department which practical experience shows should be instituted. On the second week of each and every month, the Chief shall make out a statement of conduct of the affairs of the Department, and shall include therein any suggestions for the improvement in the service or personnel of the Department.
