§ 33.024 CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
   (A)   Members of Police Department shall be appointed by the Chief of Police, with consent of the Town Manager.
   (B)   An appointee shall serve 12 months’ probation. This period of probation may be extended for a period of six months upon recommendations of the Chief, with the approval of the Board. The appointee may be summarily dismissed any time during the probationary period by the Chief with the approval of the Board.
