§ 33.007 MUTUAL AID ASSISTANCE WITH OTHER MUNICIPAL COUNTY.
   (A)   The Chief of Police with consent of the Town Manager is authorized to enter into mutual aid assistance arrangements with other municipal and county law enforcement agencies that the head of the requesting law enforcement agency request assistance in writing.
   (B)   The Chief of Police is authorized to permit officers of the town’s Police Department to work temporarily with the officers of the requesting agencies, including in an undercover capacity, and, to this extent, may lend equipment and supplies.
   (C)   While working with the requesting agency, a town police officer shall have the same jurisdiction, power, rights, privileges, and immunities as the officers of the requesting agency.
   (D)   The Chief of Police is further authorized to request mutual aid assistance from other law enforcement agencies in accordance with such reasonable arrangement, terms, and conditions as may be agreed upon between the respective heads of the law enforcement agencies.
