§ 33.004 SUPERVISION OF DEPARTMENT.
   The Chief of Police shall have immediate direction and control of the members of the Police Department, subject, however, to the supervision of the Board of Commissioners and to rules, regulations, and orders that the Board of Commissioners may prescribe. The Board of Commissioners shall have the authority to hire and fire all members of the Police Department.
