Any taxicab driver who shall be discharged by his or her or her employer shall report to the taxicab inspector as to the reason for his or her discharge, the information to be verified by the former employer and the information to be made available by the taxicab inspector to any taxicab company or owner to whom the discharged driver may apply for employment.
