All taxicabs that are licensed to operate in the town shall have posted, printed or placed on each side of the body of the taxicab in lettering not less than two inches in width, the name of the person owning or operating the taxicab, the taxicab number and telephone number of the person; provided, the taxicab may be operated under an emblem or trade name similarly placed on each side of the body of the taxicab, when the true name of the owner shall have been filed in writing, with the taxicab inspector.
