(A) Skateboarding, inline skating, or freestyle bicycling are hazardous recreational activities (G.S. § 99E-21), use of this facility may result in death, paralysis, brain damage, concussion, broken bones, or other serious injury. The town does not assume responsibility for injuries. Use at own risk.
(B) (1) Anyone using this facility must wear appropriate safety equipment including, but not limited to:
(a) Helmet;
(b) Knee pads; and
(c) Elbow pads.
(2) Any person failing to do so will be asked to leave the park.
(C) Individuals without proper safety equipment are prohibited from using the skateboard park.
