SCHEDULE VI. PARKING REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Schedule. There shall be no parking allowed on the following streets or portions of streets.

   (B)   Other restrictions. For vehicles left on the public streets and highways, the Board of Commissioners hereby determines that immediate removal of such vehicles may be warranted when they are:
      (1)   Obstructing traffic;
      (2)   Parking in violation of an ordinance prohibiting or restricting parking;
      (3)   Parking in a no stopping or no standing zone;
      (4)   Parking in loading zones;
      (5)   Parked in bus zones;
      (6)   Parked in violation of temporary parking restrictions imposed under code sections;
      (7)   Parked on a sidewalk or crosswalk;
      (8)   Parked on streets 18 feet or less in width. For this purpose, street includes entire right-of-way;
      (9)   Parked in front of a fire hydrant; and/or
      (10)   Parked within five feet of a garbage can.
   (C)    A person who authorizes the towing of a vehicle covered by this schedule, G.S. 153A-132, G.S. 160A-303, or G.S. 160A-303.2 is a legal possessor of the vehicle within the meaning of G.S. 44A-1(1).
   (D)   Penalty. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of any section or division of this schedule for which no other penalty is provided or failing or neglecting or refusing to comply with same, shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor and subject to a fine not to exceed $50 or imprisonment not to exceed 30 days, and each day that any of the provisions of this code of ordinances are violated shall constitute a separate offense.
