(A) Purpose and policy. This chapter sets forth uniform requirements for direct and indirect contributors into the storm water collection and distribution system for the town, and enables the town to comply with all federal and state laws including Phase II Storm Water Regulations required by the Environmental Protection Agency. The objectives of this chapter are to establish measures to reduce pollution carried to streams by stormwater runoff.
(B) Definition. For the purposes of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL UNIT (ERU). Is equal to 2,600 square feet of impervious surface.
